In addition, Shanghai Tanchain's carbon fiber products have been preliminarily applied in the manufacturing of ship related equipment, which further proves that the application of carbon fiber in the shipbuilding field has formed a certain scale. ‌

The application of carbon fiber composite materials not only improves the performance of ships, but also reduces the weight and fuel consumption of ships, which helps to improve the environmental friendliness and economy of ships. For example, the application of carbon fiber masts on Nordic warships has become quite mature. This material not only helps reduce the weight of the ship, but also lowers fuel consumption, allowing more of the total weight of the ship to be allocated to additional functions. ‌
